All about commenting

By now you've all seen the neat little feature Blogger has added to the comments section. I've been trying it out and I kinda like the way it works. My email is getting a little unruly but better that then my brain trying to chase down replies to my comments. You can unsubscribe to the comments when you get a response from the writer of the blog or continue to follow what others are saying. To be honest. I've never paid much attention to what others were saying on someones else's blog but with this handy new feature. I've gotten a little more interested because they flood my email. Some people get tons of comments! Thank heavens it's a progressive thing for each comment in one email not one for each persons response. In reading other comments and as a result of this feature I keep tell myself. "I'm not adding anymore blogs" to my ever growing reader list and promptly I add one more. Ha!I regret that I can't follow more blogs. It's so interesting and fun to establish relationships through blogging and I can't say it enough.. it's brought some really incredible people into my life. People I would have never gotten to know otherwise. My method of responding to each of you individually by personal email has been not so reliable of late and may soon be a thing of the past. I have struggled with all different methods of communication through my blog and have tried several approaches. Maybe this new blog feature is just the answer I can live with. Getting what is shown on the right got to be a little unnerving and frustrating at times. I often would write a response only to find I didn't have a good email address to send it to. The email address. I use is strictly for blogging friends commenting and such and in reality is the most efficient method I've found. I haven't found spam to be a huge issues thus far. Knock on some hard wood knocking on my head. Ouch that hurts!Anyone leaving a comment on my site I feel deserves a reply even if it's a blanket response. So for now my dear readers you will find my replies to comments in comments unless of course I have your email address and then and only then you may still find a private response a time or two. :)Now when is someone going to come along with grammar check in addition to spell check???
I don't respond with emails well to my blog friends.. but I do regularly read my blog friends' blogs.. and with a few friends have the email correspondence. But I do have to watch how much time is spent blogging. It can eat into the day. Glad to always hear about your updates.. with your blog parents or the life surrounding your land...
motherpie - Glad to know you still stop by on occasion. Yesterday I lost the whole day to getting somewhat caught up in blogger sphere. Where's my buddie Carron been?
you know that grammar and spellcheck will be obsolete soon....... look at the way the are constantly changing the spelling of words or adding new ones..... and as far as grammar goes have you listened to the way the pre-teens and youngs teens talk? It all sounds like jibberish with the way they use just the first letter of every word and think 'WE' will understand what they are saying! I think I might try that comment e-mail and see how it works for me too!Hugs my friend!!!
Janey you do what you have to do in order to have some semblance of order in your life to manage the blogs you read comment on etc. I've been signing up for the comment response thing since I first discovered it and I like the idea of being able to keep on with an interesting discussion that develops from time to time. I will say this though about your e-mailing of comments - it always made me feel more like I really Know you who you are inside and out and a really good person to chat with too!
I love this new feature now I can follow any comments I leave. Many times I forget about which blogs I left a comment on and just hope if they respond someone will write me. :)[ADVERTHERE]Related article:
