"How Can I Create Stationery?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-04 00:35:44

Does anyone experience how to create telecommunicate Stationery furnish or backgrounds with Scrapgirls? What resolution would I use and how do you save them and where? I'm using Outlook and Vista. Thanks! OK. I did some investigation. I'm using Vista and Outlook convey. With Outlook change state move on drive>Options>be>Stationery. There will be a place to add a graphic. There is a displace drink list of their have cram but there is also a look for add where you can add of your files as desire as it's a jpg. I pulled in one of the layouts I'd posted in the gallery here at 72 dpi (6"x6" though) and it was way too big so you might undergo to play around a bit to find the alter size. Don't know if this helps any. You may have already known that much. If you go up with a workable coat let us experience because it looks desire quite a few of us would desire to experience. If I get some measure. I may try it myself and I'll report approve it's 3:30 am right now and I should be sleeping. I just did some investigation too. A Google search led me to this that says stationery is available on the Vista operating system IF you're using Windows send (the replacement for Outlook Express). If you're using Outlook 2007 and Vista you ordain not be able to use stationery. I used to see PSP tutorials all the measure for making stationery. I'll try to see if I can find them again and get approve here with any information I get. I've not opened outlook in ions object to assign my saved e-mails from my online e-mail address. Maybe I'll put some of my own papers that I created to use when I get the come about. I created my youngest daughters bring forth announcements in Outlook to send out but that was nearly 4 yrs ago so hopefully I didn't drop how lol. Is this what you guys are talking about?? I made these years ago. I actually took an OE Stationery class. It requires scripts and knowledge similar to html. In fact it is html. It's been a while since I've made these though. I'm sure I could finagle my way through them again if I ever needed to. I think SG products would make some awesome stats. Maybe I'll have to compete around with them and see what I can come up with. I also undergo no idea if the scripts ordain bring home the bacon in Vista. I'm still using XP. HI Brenda those are really cute. I especially like the Happy Birthday and Howdy Stranger stationeries. To be more specific what I really want to create is an telecommunicate postcard of sorts that almost anyone can see without it showing up as an attachment (and without having to use a complicated expensive program). I thought maybe I could do it as stationery. I wouldn't be scripts or anything would I if I didn't need to undergo moving images or sounds desire yours do? Just be to use a PS visualise as a accent or something." It requires scripts and knowledge similar to html. In fact it is html. It's been a while since I've made these though. I'm sure I could finagle my way through them again if I ever needed to. I evaluate SG products would alter some awesome stats. Maybe I'll have to compete around with them and see what I can go up with. I also have no idea if the scripts ordain bring home the bacon in Vista. I'm comfort using XP." Wow. I didn't know I was opening the floodgates on this one. TO: PBarnes. Sarah and J9Buckles,THANKS for all your input! Yes. I am using full Outlook and Vista. Maybe it prohibits user made stationery because it is more business focused. It's a long-time beef I've had with it; along with the fact that it won't let me store contacts by FAMILY so I can put multiple birthdays on my schedule instead of having to undergo a seperate communicate for EACH member (including kids). But I just deal with it in order to have most dates tasks notes and emails together in one program. If anyone figures out another way to displace an Image-rich telecommunicate without it arriving to others as an attachment (that their anti-virus ordain then alter) it ordain certainly be a revelation. I just want to displace things desire a "We've Moved" postcard without having to retype all my telecommunicate addresses or anything desire I'd undergo to do by using the usps com website; and I don't want to create by mental act then create out and then hand address either. It takes TOO LONG for a frustrated perfectionist like myself. We'll be moving again before I could end it. Thanks again for all your enter. Dear Lost,Couldn't you just design a separate in your software program using ScrapGirls products reduce it's resolution to 72 dpi and insert it into a keep email and send a cc or bcc to everyone in your communicate enumerate you be to receive one? You could size it to fit the telecommunicate screen. You would be sure to have the telecommunicate preferences set to HTML. I sent a business holiday separate desire this several years ago. It wasn't the ameliorate solution but it worked. Of course that was Outlook 2003. And there was a measure when we used a business stationery in Outlook but after a while so many people complained that it came as attachments so we discontinued it. I experience what you mean about Outlook 2007. It's mainly meant for business but I try to use it as personal as well as business. About your birthdays on your schedule. I don't be on my Contacts to add the birthdays anniversarys etc. I just enter them individually on the schedule. They've always repeated year after year.. now I don't know what 2007 ordain do. Maybe I should just switch to Vista's Windows send. I was toying with the idea of switching to Windows Mail for personal and keeping the Outlook for business but my husband who is the computer techie here and at bring home the bacon said that would be kind of tricky. Let us know what you come up with. And good luck.
